Yesterday my mom and I made turkey stew with Indian spices from the leftover Thanksgiving dinner. We followed a recipe from the New York Times. http://www.nytimes.com/2009/11/25/dining/25mini.html?_r=1&scp=1&sq=indian%20turkey%20recipe&st=cse We put turkey, spinach, tomatoes, onions, cumin and garlic and mixed it together in a huge pot to cook. While it was cooking, we made rice to go underneath. I loved it. It tasted like a whole world in my mouth spinning around. For dessert we bought apple crumb cake. It was store-bought, but it was still delicious with dulce de leche ice cream. This is definitely a holiday that keeps on giving and giving!!!!!!!!!!!
I attended Family Weekend at Pratt Institute. I took a class about blogging, and that made me want to start a blog. Here it is! This blog is about my favorite things--FOOD! Eating. Cooking!!!
